Privacy Policy for Infoclarity

This Privacy Policy describes how Infoclarity Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application (Infoclarity) and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect various types of information in connection with the Service, including:
- a. Information You Provide Directly: When you register for an account, use our chat features, create tasks, or interact with the Service, you may provide us with personal information such as:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, profile picture, and user ID, primarily managed through Clerk authentication.
- Chat Messages: Content of your messages, including text and images, sent within chat rooms (individual chatrooms, forums or community).
- Task Data: All task details including but not limited to title, notes, due, status created in the separate organization task list. This data is created by you and is synchronized with Google Tasks. Other information including but not limited to task priority, task assignment to other individuals, user ID of task creator, time zone of the creator.
- Organization Information: Details about the organizations you belong to and your membership within them.
- Payment Information: While we use Stripe for payment processing, we do not directly store your full payment card details. Stripe collects and processes this information directly.
- b. Information Collected Automatically: When you access and use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device Information: IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use the Service, such as features accessed, time spent, and interactions with the AI assistant.
- Push Notification Tokens: We collect Expo Push Tokens to send you notifications, such as new message alerts or task reminders. These tokens are linked to your user ID.
- c. Information from Third-Party Services:
- Google Tasks API: When you connect your Google Account, we access and synchronize your Google Tasks data (task lists, tasks, titles, notes, due dates, status) to provide task management functionality within our app. However, we do NOT access others tasks and create a new task list which will be specifically used for synchronization. This involves accessing sensitive user data from your Google Account. We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Clerk user ID is used to link your tasks.
- Clerk (Authentication): We use Clerk for user authentication and identity management. Clerk provides us with your user ID, name, email, and profile picture, which are necessary to manage your account and personalize your experience.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to personalize ads. We do not share your personal data directly with AdMob beyond what is necessary for ad serving (e.g., ad unit ID, reward points).
- Stripe (Payments): For any payment processing, we integrate with Stripe. Your payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe, and we do not store sensitive payment card details on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
- To personalize your experience and deliver relevant content.
- To enable communication features (chat messages) within organizations.
- To manage and synchronize your tasks with Google Tasks.
- To provide AI assistance based on your chat history and tasks.
- To process transactions and manage your subscriptions (via Stripe).
- To reward users with points for watching ads (via AdMob).
- To send you push notifications for new messages, task updates, and other relevant alerts.
- To improve, optimize, and develop new features for the Service.
- To monitor and analyze usage trends and activities.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activities.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. How We Share Your Information
- a. With Other Users in Your Organization: If you are part of an organization within the Service, your tasks (including but not limited to title, notes, due date, status) and chat messages will be visible to other members of your organization to facilitate collaboration.
- b. With Google (for Google Tasks API): Your Google Account data (specifically Google Tasks) is accessed and modified by our Service to provide the integrated task management features. This data remains within your Google Account and is managed according to Google's Privacy Policy. We only access the data necessary for the Service's functionality as explicitly authorized by you.
- c. With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), and push notification services (Expo, Google FCM, Apple APN). These providers are obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
- d. For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).
- e. Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, your information may be transferred.
- f. With Your Consent: We may share your information with your explicit consent or at your direction.
- g. With AI Service Providers (e.g., OpenAI): To enhance your experience, we may send your task-related data (such as task titles, notes, due dates, and statuses) to third-party AI services like OpenAI (e.g., ChatGPT 4.0 mini) for the purpose of generating insights, summaries, or suggestions to improve your productivity. This data is anonymized and not used to train any AI models.
We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of your Google Workspace data is strictly limited to providing and improving core user-facing features. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or sharing with unauthorized third parties.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, and comply with our legal obligations. When your account is terminated, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable laws. Note that some data, like chat messages in organizational contexts, may persist for other members of the organization.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
